Embark on the Trans Himalayan Odyssey, a thrilling 14-day motorcycle tour from Chandigarh to Leh. Ride through Sangla, Spiti, Zanskar, and Nubra, conquering legendary mountain passes and ancient monasteries. Day 1

Arrival in Chandigarh

Arrive in Chandigarh from Delhi by flight or train. Meet the crew, get introduced to your motorcycle and head out for a relaxed test ride. Spend the evening discovering Chandigarh and enjoying some Punjabi hospitality before the mountains call.
Day 2
Day 2

Chandigarh to Narkanda

Distance: Distance: 160 Kms | Ride Time: 6 hours km

Leave the plains behind as the road climbs into the Himalayas. Forested hills, winding mountain roads and distant peaks lead us to Narkanda, a quiet Himalayan village surrounded by cedar forests and apple country.

Narkanda To Sangla Valley

Distance: Distance: 145 Kms | Ride Time: 6 hours km

Ride deeper into the Himalayas, following mountain roads towards the remote Sangla Va l ley. The terrain becomes wilder as the road traces the Baspa River into a dramatic mountain amphitheatre. Settle into an apple orchard and experience the warmth of local life.

Sangla Valley To Kalpa

Distance: Distance: 45 Kms | Ride Time: 2 hours km

A short ride takes us to Kalpa, perched high above the Sutlej Valley. Slow the pace, explore the village and take in the extraordinary panorama of the Kinnaur Himalayas. A well-earned pause before we head into Spiti.

Kalpa to Kaza

Distance: Distance: 200 Kms | Ride Time: 5 to 6 hours km

The landscape changes dramatically as we cross into Spiti — a high-altitude desert of stark mountains, ancient villages and Buddhist monasteries. Follow the road towards Kaza, the valley’s cultural and administrative centre.

Kaza to Pin Valley & Back

Distance: Day Ride | Return to K aza km

Leave Kaza for a day ride into the remote Pin Valley, following the valley deep into the high desert. Rugged mountains, quiet villages and Buddhist traditions shape the landscape as we explore one of
Spiti’s most distinctive corners. Return to Kaza for a second night.
Day 7

Kaza to Chandra Taal

Distance: Distance: 150 kms | Ride Time: 5 to 6 hours km

Ride deeper into the high country towards Chandra Taal, the legendary Lake of the Moon. The route crosses stark mountain terrain before opening onto high meadows and the crescent-shaped lake, where we spend the night beneath the Spiti sky.

Chandra Taal to Jispa

Distance: Distance: 130 kms | Ride Time: 4 hours km

Leave the high desert behind and descend towards the greener valleys of Lahaul. Follow the road along the Bhaga River to Jispa, a peaceful mountain village surrounded by high peaks and alpine landscapes.

Jispa to Padum

Distance: Distance : 126 kms | Ride Time : 6 Hours km

The journey now turns towards Zanskar. Ride through increasingly remote terrain and into a world of deep valleys, rugged mountains and isolated settlements. Arrive in Padum, the heart of Zanskar, and discover its local markets and Buddhist heritage.

Padum to Lamayuru

Distance: Distance: 190 kms | Ride Time : 8 Hours km

A long and rewarding ride takes us west from Zanskar towards Lamayuru. Ancient villages, stark mountain walls and changing terrain accompany the journey. Arrive at one of Ladakh’s oldest monastic settlements and watch the evening light settle over its surreal rock formations.

Lamayuru to Leh

Distance: Distance: 105 kms | Ride Time : 3 Hours km

A final stretch of Himalayan riding brings us to Leh. Take the afternoon to wander through the old town, explore local markets and monasteries, or simply enjoy a slower evening after the days spent deep in the mountains.

Leh to Nubra Valley

Distance: Distance: 160 kms | Ride Time: 6 hours km

Leave Leh behind and climb towards Khardung La before descending into the extraordinary Nubra Valley. The landscape shifts from high mountain passes to sweeping desert valleys framed by the Karakoram. Tonight, experience traditional Ladakhi hospitality.

Nubra Valley To Leh

Distance: Distance 160 kms | Ride Time : 7 hours km

Our final ride retraces the mountains towards Leh, with one last opportunity to enjoy the scale and character of Ladakh. Return to Leh and celebrate the journey — from the green valleys of Himachal to the high desert of the Trans Himalayas.

Leh

Trip Ends. Fly out from Leh after memorable trip in the Himalayas.
